We are seeking a proactive and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, efficiency, and collaboration, with a primary goal of ensuring the fast, secure, and reliable delivery of our software. You will be the bridge between our development and operations teams, implementing and optimizing processes to accelerate development cycles and maintain a robust, scalable, and high-availability infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. CI/CD Pipeline Design and Management (Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery)
Software Lifecycle Automation: Set up and maintain automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications across all environments (development, testing, production).
CI/CD Tooling: Utilize tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions to orchestrate workflows.
Code Quality: Integrate static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube), unit tests, and integration tests to ensure quality at every stage of the pipeline.
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Management
Cloud Administration: Manage and optimize our infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services) or GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
Containerization and Orchestration: Use Docker to containerize applications and Kubernetes to efficiently orchestrate, scale, and manage container clusters.
Infrastructure Automation: Employ IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible to provision and manage infrastructure declaratively and under version control, eliminating manual configuration.
3. Monitoring, Logging, and Security
System Observability: Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to supervise application performance and infrastructure health in real-time.
Centralized Log Management: Configure logging systems (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk) to aggregate and analyze logs, facilitating troubleshooting and auditing.
Integrated Security (DevSecOps): Embed security practices throughout the entire development lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management (e.g., Vault), and configuring security policies within the infrastructure.
4. Process Automation and Optimization
Reduce Manual Tasks: Identify bottlenecks and repetitive tasks in development and operations workflows and automate them using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate closely with developers to understand their needs and optimize their workflows, fostering a strong DevOps culture across the organization.
Configuration Management: Ensure environment consistency using configuration management tools.
The ultimate goal of this role is to optimize the development and operations workflow to maintain a stable, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
